Year 3 Primary Teacher Required - Short-Term Cover (FY1, Blackpool)
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to cover a planned absence at a supportive primary school located in the FY1 area of Blackpool.
This is a temporary, term-time contract for a full-time role, commencing as soon as possible, or on an agreed start date, for a fixed duration of 6 weeks.
The Role and Pay:
You will be responsible for the full class teaching duties of a vibrant Year 3 class, ensuring continuity and progress during the planned absence. This includes:
- Planning and preparation of engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Effective delivery of all subjects, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
- Assessment, marking, and feedback to ensure accurate tracking of pupil progress.
- Maintaining existing classroom standards through strong, effective classroom management.
- Liaising with the phase leader and parents/carers where necessary.
Pay Rate: This position offers a competitive daily rate of £140 to £168 per day, dependent on experience.
Candidate Requirements:
To be a successful candidate for this crucial 6-week assignment, you must meet the following criteria:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Prior Teaching Experience: A proven track record of teaching is required.
- Local Knowledge: Demonstrable knowledge of Blackpool schools and the local community is highly desirable.
- Classroom Management: Must possess strong classroom management skills to effectively maintain the existing positive standards and learning environment.
- Availability to commit to the full 6-week duration of the cover.
