Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - SEN Schools, Corby

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Salary: £110-£130 per day
Contract: Full-time, long-term

Tradewind Recruitment are working closely with several all-through SEN partner schools in Corby to appoint experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs). These schools provide specialist education for children with a variety of additional needs including autism, MLD, and physical or sensory impairments.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across all key stages. You'll deliver pre-planned lessons in the teacher's absence, lead targeted interventions, and contribute to assessment and progress tracking. You'll also help guide and mentor other support staff, promoting consistent best practice across the classroom.

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Hold HLTA status or have substantial experience as a senior SEN TA.

  • Have excellent knowledge of inclusive learning strategies.

  • Demonstrate strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.

This position offers the chance to take on greater responsibility within a caring, inclusive school community, with potential routes into teacher training or management for the right person.
