Tradewind are recruiting! Are you an outstanding Chemistry teacher looking for a rewarding part-time role in an academically ambitious environment?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a specialist Chemistry Teacher to join an Ofsted Outstanding grammar school in Trafford. This is a part-time supply position to cover a temporary absence, teaching in a calm, high-achieving and well-supported environment.

The Role

  • Position: Chemistry Teacher - GCSE and A level
  • Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8.30am - 3.30pm
  • Focus: Engaging and innovative practical Chemistry lessons in a school where students are motivated, polite, and eager to learn.
  • The department values excellent teaching, subject expertise and creativity above all else - this is a school where behaviour management takes a back seat, allowing you to focus on bringing Chemistry to life.
  • Applications are welcomed from Early Career Teachers and experienced QTS teachers alike.

Requirements

To join us and be successful in this Chemistry Teacher role, you will need to:

  • Hold QTS or QTLS
  • Provide a CV with a full employment and education history, explaining any breaks
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS Disclosure and provide professional references
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
