Contract Type: Full-Time (5 Days per Week)
Location: Various Secondary Schools across Kingston upon Thames

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join a network of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across Kingston upon Thames. About the Role

As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teachers and students in the classroom, working both independently and collaboratively to deliver engaging lessons and targeted support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering small group or one-to-one interventions to support student progress.

  • Covering classes during teacher absence, following lesson plans and maintaining a positive learning environment.

  • Supporting students with additional needs, ensuring every learner has the opportunity to succeed.

  • Assisting with planning, assessment, and curriculum delivery.

  • Contributing to the wider school community and enrichment activities.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Qualified to HLTA Level or has equivalent experience working at this level in a school setting.

  • Confident managing classes and supporting learners of varying abilities.

  • Committed to promoting inclusion, equality, and a positive learning culture.

  • A great communicator with excellent teamwork skills.

  • Motivated to progress and take advantage of professional development opportunities.
