Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and specialist SEN school in the Kettering area. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them grow both academically and personally.

In this rewarding role, you'll work with students with a range of SEND profiles-including ASD, MLD, SLD, and SEMH-providing tailored support and creating meaningful learning experiences that help every child succeed.

Your Role:

  • Support students with special educational needs in both 1:1 and small-group settings

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering adapted and engaging learning activities

  • Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

  • Help implement personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies

  • Build trusting, supportive relationships with pupils

  • Contribute to a caring, safe, and inclusive school environment

About You:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEND

  • A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for inclusive education

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
