Maths Teacher - Northampton
Location: Northamptonshire
Start Date: ASAP or January 2026 | Full-Time | Permanent or Long-Term Roles Available

Tradewind Recruitment is supporting a number of vibrant and well-resourced secondary schools across Northampton who are looking for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team. Whether you're after a permanent post or a long-term placement, we can help you find the right fit.

What the Role Involves:

  • Delivering purposeful and engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with potential KS5 classes in some schools)

  • Planning lessons that encourage curiosity, logical thinking, and resilience

  • Using a range of teaching strategies to support a variety of learners

  • Contributing to a friendly, collaborative Maths department that shares ideas and best practice

  • Getting involved in extra-curricular Maths opportunities, enrichment sessions, or STEM-related activities

What We're Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher of Mathematics (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)

  • Solid knowledge of the national curriculum and GCSE requirements

  • A passion for helping students enjoy Maths and achieve their best

  • Someone committed, adaptable, and ready to be part of a positive school culture

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

ECTs are very welcome-schools can offer great mentoring and induction support.
