Tradewind Recruitment is supporting a welcoming primary school in the Breightmet area of Bolton, who are looking for an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher for a January or February half-term start. This position offers an exciting chance to teach a focused, energetic KS2 class preparing for upper-key-stage responsibilities.

Main responsibilities:

  • Teaching Year 5 across the full curriculum with high expectations

  • Preparing pupils for Year 6 by developing resilience and independence

  • Using assessments effectively to drive progress

  • Maintaining a structured, positive learning environment

  • Working closely with phase staff, support staff, and leadership

  • Engaging positively with parents and carers

We are seeking a teacher who:

  • Holds QTS and experience in upper KS2

  • Has strong subject knowledge across core areas

  • Is confident with KS2 assessment frameworks

  • Can inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils

  • Demonstrates excellent organisation and classroom management
