About the Role:
  • Location: Primary School in Doncaster, South Yorkshire
  • Position: Year 2 Class Teacher (Full Class Responsibilities)
  • Start Date: January 2026
  • Duration: Long-term temporary position with the possibility of a permanent contract

What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a highly motivated teacher who can inspire young minds and effectively guide pupils through the final year of Key Stage 1, including SATS preparation. The ideal candidate will have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Recent, relevant experience as a primary teacher teaching Key Stage 1, ideally within Year 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, with a focus on English and Maths.
  • A commitment to creating a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment rooted in mutual respect.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and high expectations for all pupils.
  • A team-player mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with year group partners and the wider school team.
  • A reflective approach to teaching and a passion for ongoing professional development.
