About the Role

You'll be delivering engaging History lessons to students across KS3 and KS4, inspiring them to explore key events, cultures and perspectives from around the world. We offer day-to-day, short-term and longer-term opportunities, allowing you to choose a working pattern that suits your needs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, well-structured History lessons

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Manage behaviour effectively

  • Follow school policies and routines

  • Provide feedback or light marking (where required in longer-term roles)

Requirements

  • QTS or equivalent secondary teaching qualification

  • Strong subject knowledge in History

  • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • A flexible, professional and proactive approach
