Learning Support Assistant - Wellingborough

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work in a secondary school in the Wellingborough area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students in achieving their full potential within a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The Role:

  • Providing in-class support to students with additional learning needs

  • Working one-to-one or in small groups to support learning and engagement

  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management

  • Supporting students with SEND, SEMH, or additional needs (experience desirable)

  • Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion throughout the school day

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)

  • Be patient, empathetic, and supportive

  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Be committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing

  • Be suitable to work with children (subject to safeguarding checks)
