What the Role Involves

  • Delivering purposeful and engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 classes in some schools

  • Planning lessons that encourage curiosity, logical thinking, and resilience

  • Using a variety of teaching strategies to support all learners

  • Contributing to a friendly, collaborative Maths department, sharing ideas and best practice

  • Getting involved in extra-curricular Maths opportunities, enrichment sessions, or STEM-related activities

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified teacher of Mathematics (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)

  • Solid knowledge of the national curriculum and GCSE requirements

  • Passionate about helping students enjoy Maths and achieve their potential

  • Committed, adaptable, and ready to contribute to a positive school culture

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • ECTs are very welcome-schools offer excellent mentoring and induction support
