Primary Booster Teacher - Year 6 Support
Rotherham | From January | Minimum 2 Days per Week
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking qualified primary teachers to join our register for booster teaching roles in Rotherham starting from January. These roles focus on helping Year 6 pupils make the most of their learning in the lead-up to SATs, providing tailored support in English and Maths.
You will deliver focused sessions to small groups or individual pupils, addressing gaps in learning and boosting confidence to help students achieve their best.
Key responsibilities:
Delivering intervention and booster lessons for primary-aged pupils
Supporting Year 6 pupils with SATs preparation
Teaching across Upper Key Stage 2, adapting to individual pupil needs
Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback
Working across a range of Rotherham primary schools, depending on demand
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum, especially Upper KS2
Experience working with Year 6 pupils, ideally in an intervention or booster capacity
Commitment to at least two days per week on a regular basis
Ability to engage pupils and deliver structured, targeted sessions
