Cover Supervisor | Sports Coach | Teaching Assistant
Pay: Up to £120 per day

The Roles Available

We are recruiting Sports Graduates to work across Wigan secondary schools in the following roles:

  • Cover Supervisor - Deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and gain first-hand secondary teaching experience
  • Sports Coach - Support PE departments, lead practical sessions, and encourage participation in sport and physical activity
  • Teaching Assistant - Provide in-class support, work with small groups, and help pupils engage and achieve

These roles offer flexibility, variety, and invaluable experience for anyone planning to progress onto a PGCE, School Direct, or other teacher training routes.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Sport or a related subject
  • An interest in education, teaching, or youth development
  • Confidence, enthusiasm, and the ability to engage young people
  • Previous experience working with children or young people (coaching, mentoring, tutoring) is advantageous but not essential
