Job Description

We're currently recruiting a Home Tutor to work with students in Skelmersdale who require individual support outside mainstream school. The role begins in January and involves delivering personalised 1:1 tuition in the student's home environment.

The role:

  • Providing tailored sessions in English, Maths or functional skills

  • Planning work to match the student's learning level and EHC needs

  • Helping the student build confidence and routine

  • Liaising regularly with parents, carers and the wider support team

What we're looking for:

  • Experience working with SEN, tuition or alternative provision

  • Ability to build trust and maintain engagement in a quiet, focused setting

  • Reliable, well-organised and confident planning independent sessions
