The Role
Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a qualified and passionate Religious Education Teacher to work full-time at a secondary school in the Corby area. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated RE specialist to deliver engaging, inclusive lessons and make a positive impact on students' academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Religious Education across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, reflection, and respectful discussion

  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

  • Contribute positively to the wider Humanities / RE department

  • Support the school's ethos and commitment to inclusion and safeguarding

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

  • Experience teaching Religious Education in UK secondary schools

  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for RE

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Ability to inspire and engage learners of all abilities

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
