The Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in the Wellingborough area. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring classroom practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality maths education and raising student achievement.
You will teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for a suitably experienced candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress to inform teaching and intervention
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners of all abilities
Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment
Contribute to the development of the Maths department
Support pupils' academic progress and confidence in mathematics
Uphold high standards of behaviour and expectations
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it
Has a strong subject knowledge and passion for Mathematics
Is committed to raising attainment and fostering a love of learning
Demonstrates effective classroom and behaviour management skills
Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school life
