Pay: Competitive daily rate (paid weekly)
Contract: Full-time, term-time only

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a supportive secondary school in the Corby area to recruit an English Graduate to join their Graduate Teacher Programme. This opportunity is ideal for an English graduate who is considering a future career in teaching and wants to gain paid, hands-on classroom experience.
About the English Graduate Teacher Programme:
This programme is designed to support aspiring English teachers by providing valuable in-school experience prior to progressing onto formal teacher training routes such as PGCE, School Direct, or SCITT. You will work closely with experienced English teachers, developing your subject knowledge, classroom confidence, and behaviour management skills.
The Role:
Supporting English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Working with pupils 1:1 and in small groups to develop literacy skills
Assisting with lesson delivery, planning, and resource preparation
Supporting classroom behaviour and student engagement
Gaining exposure to assessment, marking, and pastoral support
The Ideal Candidate:
A degree in English or a closely related subject
Passionate about English literature, language, and literacy
Considering a future career as an English teacher
Confident, enthusiastic, and proactive
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
