Job Title: English Specialist Teaching Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic English Specialist TA to join our dynamic school team. You will provide targeted support to students to help them improve their literacy skills, engage with the curriculum, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering high-quality English lessons.

  • Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning.

  • Assist students with reading, writing, comprehension, and exam preparation.

  • Help identify learning gaps and implement strategies to support progress.

  • Provide pastoral support and encourage positive learning behaviours.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting students in English, literacy, or related subjects.

  • Can motivate and inspire students of all abilities.

  • Communicates effectively with staff, students, and parents.

  • Is patient, organised, and adaptable.

  • Holds relevant qualifications or experience in education, English, or literacy support.
