Media Studies Teacher - Rushden Area

Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire
Start Date: ASAP / Next Term (flexible)
Contract: Full-time or Part-time | Long-term / Permanent opportunities available
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the Rushden area to recruit a passionate and creative Media Studies Teacher.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated teacher who can inspire students and deliver engaging Media Studies lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).

The Role:

  • Teaching Media Studies to mixed-ability classes

  • Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons

  • Assessing and tracking student progress effectively

  • Contributing positively to the department and wider school community

  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Media Studies in a UK secondary school

  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Media Studies

  • Excellent classroom management skills

  • A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
