Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with an excellent Secondary School in the Richmond area, who are seeking a Biology Teacher to start immediately.
This is a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year, with a strong possibility of securing a permanent contract for the right candidate. The school is proud of its strong links to the local community and offers a supportive and forward-thinking Senior Leadership Team, committed to developing teachers at every stage of their career.
You will be responsible for teaching Biology across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential opportunity to teach A Level Biology depending on experience. The school is well connected by public transport and also benefits from on-site parking and free on-street parking.
This position includes full teaching and pastoral responsibilities and will be paid on the Outer London Main Pay Scale, ranging from £37,870 to £56,154, depending on experience.
Candidate requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with recent UK classroom experience
Ability to adapt quickly to new schools and environments
A genuine commitment to safeguarding and improving outcomes for young people
A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
