Are you a graduate considering a career in teaching or education? Secondary schools across Wandsworth are working in partnership with Tradewind Recruitment to recruit enthusiastic and reliable Graduate Cover Supervisors from February.

This role is ideal for graduates looking to gain hands-on classroom experience before starting teacher training (PGCE, School Direct, SCITT) or pursuing a long-term career in education. As a Cover Supervisor, you will work across a range of subjects, delivering pre-planned lessons and helping to maintain a positive and focused learning environment.

Your role will include:

  • Supervising whole classes in the absence of the class teacher

  • Delivering pre-set lesson materials across KS3 and KS4

  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Supporting students with engagement and learning

  • Providing clear feedback to teaching staff following lessons

We're looking for graduates who:

  • Hold a degree in any subject

  • Are confident, professional, and enthusiastic

  • Have strong communication and organisational skills

  • Are reliable, adaptable, and keen to learn

  • Have experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)

  • Hold an up-to-date DBS (or are willing to apply)
