Teaching Assistant - Kettering

Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Role Type: Full-time / Part-time (flexible)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £90-£95 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming and supportive school in the Kettering area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children's learning and development, whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils in the classroom, both one-to-one and in small groups

  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management

  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs (SEN experience desirable but not essential)

  • Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working with children (school-based experience preferred)

  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for education and child development

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
