SEND Teaching Assistant - Kettering

Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be supporting a number of inclusive and forward-thinking schools in Kettering seeking enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

This is an incredibly rewarding role where you will provide tailored support to pupils with a variety of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition, SEMH, ADHD, and learning disabilities. You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs), adapt learning materials, and ensure pupils feel supported, understood, and motivated.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support

  • Assisting with differentiated learning activities

  • Supporting pupils' social and emotional development

  • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

  • Monitoring and recording pupil progress

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Have previous experience in a SEND or care-based setting

  • Are empathetic, proactive, and adaptable

  • Have excellent communication skills

  • Are committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
