Learning Support Assistant
Location: Kettering, Northamptonshire
Pay: £90-£95 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time / Part-time | Term Time Only
Start Date: ASAP

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Learning Support Assistants to join primary and secondary schools in the Kettering area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils' learning and development in a positive and inclusive environment.

The Role

  • Support pupils individually and in small groups

  • Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management

  • Help children with additional learning or SEND needs

  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement

  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience preferred)

  • Positive, patient, and proactive approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Genuine interest in education and child development

  • Relevant qualification is desirable but not essential
