Class Teacher - Summer Term Start (April 2026)

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established primary school in Croydon that is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join their team from the start of the Summer Term 2026.

The Role

As Class Teacher, you will:

  • Take full responsibility for a class (year group to be confirmed based on experience and school need)

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum

  • Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community

The school is looking for a teacher who combines strong classroom practice with warmth, high expectations and a genuine commitment to pupil progress.


The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will:

  • Hold UK QTS

  • Have recent experience teaching within a UK primary school

  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management and classroom organisation

  • Show commitment to inclusive practice and raising attainment

  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

  • Be seeking a long-term opportunity within a supportive and forward-thinking school

This position would suit both experienced teachers and confident Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
