PE Teacher
Location: Northampton
Start Date: April or September 2026 | Full-Time | Long-Term or Permanent

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a number of well-regarded secondary schools in Northampton that are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join their teams from April or September 2026. These roles are full-time, with opportunities available on both a long-term and permanent basis, depending on your experience and preferences.
About the Role:
* Deliver engaging Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities available in some schools)
* Encourage students to develop confidence, teamwork, and resilience through sport
* Teach a variety of sports and physical activities, adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners
* Support or lead extra-curricular sports clubs, teams, and fixtures
* Contribute to a positive department focused on promoting health, fitness, and wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold QTS/QTLS or an equivalent teaching qualification
* Be passionate about PE and motivating students to participate in sport
* Have strong classroom management and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment
* Be organised, proactive, and able to work collaboratively with colleagues
* Be keen to contribute to the wider life of the school
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply and will receive excellent support and mentoring.
