A welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Northampton is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Girls' PE Teacher to join their successful PE department from April or September 2026.

About the Role:
You will deliver engaging and inclusive Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. The department has a strong commitment to promoting sport across the school and encouraging all students to take part in physical activity.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Deliver high-quality Girls' PE lessons across a range of sports and activities
* Encourage participation and promote healthy, active lifestyles among students
* Inspire confidence, teamwork, and resilience through sport
* Support and lead extracurricular clubs, school teams, and fixtures
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the PE curriculum and enrichment opportunities
* Support students of all abilities and encourage engagement from those less confident in sport
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
* Be passionate about promoting girls' participation and confidence in sport
* Have the ability to teach a range of sports and physical activities
* Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Be enthusiastic about contributing to extracurricular sport and school events
* Be a collaborative team member committed to student development
