Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with several well-regarded secondary schools in Northampton, each seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed French & Spanish Teacher for an April or September 2026 start. These full-time opportunities offer long-term supply placements with the potential to transition into permanent roles depending on your preference and experience.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Teaching French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5/A-Level opportunities available in some schools)
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop vocabulary, grammar, fluency, and cultural understanding
* Supporting students of all abilities through differentiated teaching and constructive feedback
* Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident speaking and practising the languages
* Working collaboratively with the wider MFL department on curriculum planning, assessment, and enrichment activities such as language clubs, cultural events, or overseas trips

What We're Looking For:
* A qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge in both French and Spanish, including GCSE exam specifications (A-Level desirable but not essential)
* A confident classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management and high expectations
* Passionate about languages and culture, with the ability to motivate and inspire learners
* Applications welcome from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) - full induction support provided
