Secondary schools across Northampton are currently seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated individuals to join their PE departments as Unqualified PE Teachers, starting ASAP or April 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for sports coaches, graduates, teaching assistants, or individuals with a strong sporting background who are interested in starting a career in education.

With both flexible and full-time opportunities available, you'll gain hands-on experience delivering PE lessons while working alongside experienced teaching staff in supportive school environments.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Delivering pre-planned PE lessons and supervising classes across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Leading practical sports sessions and encouraging participation in physical activity
* Supporting students in developing teamwork, resilience, and physical skills
* Managing behaviour and maintaining a positive, active learning environment
* Assisting the PE department with extracurricular activities, sports clubs, and events
* Encouraging inclusive participation and promoting healthy lifestyles

We're Looking For:
* Experience working with young people (coaching, mentoring, tutoring, youth work, or similar)
* Confident communicators who can lead and manage groups of students effectively
* Energetic, proactive individuals with a genuine passion for PE and sport
* Those considering teacher training (PGCE/SCITT) or long-term careers in education
* Reliable and adaptable team players who are keen to make a positive impact in schools
