We are currently working with several supportive and welcoming secondary schools across Northampton that are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants starting in April 2026. These roles offer a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and want to gain valuable experience supporting students in a classroom setting.

The Role

  • Supporting teachers during lessons across KS3 and KS4 to help students stay engaged with their learning

  • Working with students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, including those with additional learning needs or SEND

  • Assisting with classroom management and promoting positive behaviour

  • Helping students build confidence, independence, and motivation in their studies

  • Supporting the wider pastoral and academic support systems within the school

  • Has experience working with young people through education, childcare, coaching, youth work, or care settings (helpful but not essential)
