Science Technician

The Role
As a Science Technician, you will support teaching staff in the preparation and delivery of science lessons. You will manage laboratory resources, maintain equipment, and provide practical support to ensure lessons run safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain materials and equipment for practical lessons
- Support teachers during science lessons
- Ensure laboratory safety and adherence to health and safety regulations
- Assist with demonstrations and experiments
- Maintain stock and order supplies as needed
- Help students handle equipment safely and confidently
Requirements:
- Previous UK secondary school experience in a science lab is essential
- Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment and safety procedures
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proactive, reliable and supportive approach
- Passion for supporting science education
