Cover Supervisor - Secondary School - Wellingborough - Tradewind Recruitment

Tradewind Recruitment are currently working with a supportive and well-run secondary school in the Wellingborough area who are looking to appoint a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience working with young people who is considering a career in teaching or education.

The Role

  • Supervising classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 in the absence of the class teacher

  • Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students remain on task

  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Providing feedback to teaching staff after lessons

  • Full-time, long-term role with the potential to become permanent

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with young people (school, coaching, tutoring, youth work, or similar)

  • Confident managing behaviour in a classroom setting

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Degree or relevant qualification desirable but not essential

  • Available for full-time work
