Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Science Teacher to work in a secondary school in the Wellingborough area. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Science specialist looking for a new role, whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT).

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a supportive secondary school environment. The ability to teach Biology, Chemistry, or Physics to GCSE level is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress

  • Maintain strong classroom management and high expectations

  • Contribute to the wider life of the Science department and school

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school

  • Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics

  • Good behaviour management skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
