Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking reliable and adaptable General Supply Teachers to work in secondary schools in Wellingborough and the surrounding areas. About the role

As a General Supply Teacher, you will cover a range of subjects across KS3 and KS4, delivering pre-set work, maintaining classroom behaviour, and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher. Roles may include day-to-day supply, short-term cover, or long-term assignments depending on your availability.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects

  • Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management

  • Ensure a positive and safe learning environment

  • Follow school policies and procedures

  • Provide feedback to the school when required

  • Adapt quickly to different school settings

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience working in secondary schools

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • Flexible, reliable, and professional approach

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
