Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to work in secondary schools in Wellingborough and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for flexible supply work, long-term placements, or a pathway to a permanent position.
About the role
You will be delivering engaging Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4, which may include subjects such as History, Geography, or Religious Education. You will support students of varying abilities while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement. Roles may include day-to-day supply, long-term cover, or full-time positions depending on your availability.
Key responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Humanities lessons
Differentiate work to support all learners
Maintain strong classroom behaviour management
Mark and assess work where required
Follow school policies and procedures
Contribute to a positive learning environment
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level
Ability to teach at least one Humanities subject (History, Geography, or RE)
Strong classroom management skills
Flexible, reliable, and professional approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
