The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available)
  • Inspire curiosity and critical thinking about people, places, environments, and global issues
  • Use creative teaching methods to bring topics such as climate change, sustainability, population, and urban change to life
  • Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Contribute to wider school life, including enrichment activities, fieldwork opportunities, and departmental initiatives

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS (or equivalent) and a Geography specialism
  • Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom presence
  • Innovative and reflective in teaching and learning approaches
  • Committed to inclusion, high expectations, and student progress
  • Excellent communicator with a collaborative, team-focused approach
