The Role:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available)
- Inspire curiosity and critical thinking about people, places, environments, and global issues
- Use creative teaching methods to bring topics such as climate change, sustainability, population, and urban change to life
- Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Contribute to wider school life, including enrichment activities, fieldwork opportunities, and departmental initiatives
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS (or equivalent) and a Geography specialism
- Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom presence
- Innovative and reflective in teaching and learning approaches
- Committed to inclusion, high expectations, and student progress
- Excellent communicator with a collaborative, team-focused approach
