Religious Education Teacher - Northampton
Location: Northampton

We are working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Northampton that is looking for an enthusiastic RE Teacher to join their team from September 2026 or April 2026. This is a full-time role, available as either a contract or permanent position, giving you the chance to make a real difference in students' learning and grow professionally.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Teaching Religious Education across KS3 and KS4, with some schools offering KS5 opportunities
  • Planning and delivering lessons that encourage curiosity, reflection, and understanding of different beliefs
  • Supporting students of all abilities, helping them engage with challenging topics in a safe and inclusive environment
  • Collaborating with the RE or Humanities department to develop lessons, resources, and enrichment activities
  • Encouraging students to think critically and respectfully about the world around them

Who We're Looking For:

  • Qualified RE teachers (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with strong subject knowledge
  • Confident classroom practitioners who can manage behaviour positively and create an engaging learning environment
  • Flexible, reflective, and approachable teachers who enjoy working as part of a team
  • Both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply - full induction and mentoring support will be provided
