Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Drama Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Wellingborough. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative educator to inspire students and bring the performing arts to life in a supportive and well-resourced environment.

The Role:

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to develop confidence, creativity, and performance skills. The school places a strong emphasis on expressive arts, making this a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is enthusiastic about extracurricular involvement such as school productions and drama clubs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Drama lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Inspire and motivate students of varying abilities

  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress

  • Contribute to the wider school community, including performances and events

  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Drama at secondary level

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • A passion for the performing arts and student development

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
