Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate and energetic Dance Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Wellingborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative educator who is committed to inspiring students through movement and performance.

The Role:

You will teach Dance across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students' technique, creativity, and confidence. The school has a strong commitment to the performing arts and encourages involvement in extracurricular activities such as performances and dance clubs.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Dance lessons

  • Encourage students of all abilities to participate and progress

  • Assess, monitor, and report on student development

  • Support school performances and extracurricular activities

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Dance at secondary level

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A passion for dance and student development

  • An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
