About the Role

As a Future Teacher of Maths, you'll work in supportive secondary schools across Corby, developing classroom experience and essential teaching skills before progressing onto a SCITT teacher training programme, leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

This route is ideal for graduates who want hands-on school experience before starting formal teacher training.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Supporting teaching and learning in Maths across KS3 and KS4

  • Delivering interventions and small group support

  • Building confidence in classroom practice and behaviour management

  • Working alongside experienced teachers and school mentors

  • Gaining practical experience to support progression into SCITT training

We're Looking For:

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject

  • A genuine passion for education and becoming a teacher

  • Strong subject knowledge and communication skills

  • Commitment to progressing onto a SCITT teacher training route

  • Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
