Are you passionate about supporting young people in education? We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across the Wellingborough area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, youth workers, or anyone with experience working with young people who is looking to gain valuable school-based experience.

The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain on task and complete the work set.

Responsibilities include:

Supervising students in the classroom and maintaining a positive learning environment
Delivering pre-set work left by teaching staff
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Supporting students to stay engaged and focused
Reporting back to teaching staff at the end of lessons

We are looking for candidates who:

Have strong communication and behaviour management skills
Are confident leading a classroom environment
Have experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
Are adaptable, professional and dependable
Hold a degree or relevant experience (preferred but not essential)
Have or are willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check
