Salary: £90-£120 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a variety of secondary schools across Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced school staff looking for flexible work in education.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will deliver pre-set work, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain on task in a safe and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise whole classes in the absence of a teacher

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across a range of subjects

  • Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment

  • Manage student behaviour in line with school policies

  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills

  • Experience working with young people (education, coaching, youth work, etc.)

  • A proactive and adaptable attitude

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Right to work in the UK
