Behaviour Specialist - Secondary Schools (Lewisham) | Full-Time (5 Days per Week)

About the Role
As a Behaviour Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting students with behavioural needs, working closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and senior leadership. You will implement effective strategies to improve behaviour, engagement, and overall student outcomes, helping to create a calm and focused learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide targeted behavioural support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Develop and implement behaviour intervention plans
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staff to manage and improve classroom behaviour
  • Support students in overcoming barriers to learning
  • Monitor progress and adapt strategies to ensure continued improvement
  • Build strong, professional relationships with students, staff, and families

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Behaviour Specialist or in a similar role within secondary education
  • Strong knowledge of behaviour management strategies and frameworks
  • A degree is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A calm, resilient, and proactive approach
  • A genuine commitment to supporting young people's development
