Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis across a welcoming and supportive trust of schools in the Sheffield area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate SEN professional who is looking for flexibility, variety, and the chance to make a real impact in multiple school settings.
About the Role
As a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
- Work across different schools within the trust, adapting to varied environments and student needs
- Provide 1:1 support and assist in small group interventions
- Help implement EHCPs and tailored learning strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
What We're Looking For
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting
- Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, patient approach
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple schools
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
