Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and committed Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis across a supportive trust of schools in the Rotherham area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled SEN practitioner who values flexibility and is eager to make a positive difference across a variety of school environments.
About the Role
As a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide support for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
- Work across multiple schools within the trust, adapting to different classroom settings
- Deliver 1:1 support and lead small group interventions
- Assist in implementing EHCPs and personalised learning plans
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external agencies
What We're Looking For
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Proven experience supporting children with SEN in an educational setting
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A flexible and proactive approach to working across different schools
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
