Are you a passionate English Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in a supportive secondary school environment? We are working with a welcoming school in Northampton seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from June until the end of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who can inspire students through literature, language and creative learning while maintaining high expectations within the classroom.

The Role:

Deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
Support students in developing reading, writing and analytical skills
Plan and deliver lessons that are inclusive, creative and curriculum-focused
Monitor student progress and provide clear feedback to support achievement
Maintain positive classroom behaviour and a supportive learning environment
Work collaboratively with the English department and wider school staff

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
Experience teaching English Language and Literature at secondary level
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A passionate and engaging approach to teaching English
Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
