About the Role
A friendly and supportive primary school in Northampton is seeking a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join their team with an immediate start. Working across Year 1 and Year 2, you will support pupils during a crucial stage in their early learning, helping to build strong foundations for future success.

What You'll Be Doing
Supporting the class teacher with daily classroom activities
Delivering small group interventions in phonics, reading, writing, and maths
Assisting with early development and structured classroom routines
Creating a positive and engaging learning environment
Supporting pupils with a range of abilities and learning needs
Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence, and participation
Helping to prepare and organise classroom resources
What We're Looking For
Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within Key Stage 1
Understanding of phonics and early learning strategies (desirable)
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
