Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work in secondary schools across the Wellingborough area.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience, work within education, or take the next step towards a teaching career.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
• Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students remain on task
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Support students with their learning and engagement
• Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with young people in a school, coaching, tutoring, or youth work setting
• Demonstrates strong communication and classroom management skills
• Is confident, adaptable, and organised
• Can build positive relationships with students and staff
• Has a passion for education and supporting student development

Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor is desirable but not essential. Graduates and aspiring teachers are encouraged to apply.
