We are proud to be working alongside a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Wellingborough that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join its Humanities department. The school is ideally seeking a permanent appointment, although applications from candidates interested in fixed-term contracts or long-term supply positions are also welcomed.

The Role

Deliver high-quality Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
Encourage students to develop a strong understanding of both physical and human Geography
Create engaging and challenging learning experiences that inspire curiosity and achievement
Differentiate learning to support students of varying abilities and backgrounds
Monitor progress and provide effective feedback to help students reach their potential
Contribute positively to the Humanities department and wider school community
Support enrichment opportunities, educational visits, and extracurricular activities where appropriate

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
Ability to motivate and engage students through creative and effective teaching
High expectations for student behaviour, progress, and attainment
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A collaborative and professional approach to working within a school environment
