Level 2 Teaching Assistant Required - Corby Area

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming school in the Corby area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting children's learning and helping them achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide high-quality classroom support, assisting pupils across a range of abilities and ensuring they can access learning effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teaching and learning within the classroom under the direction of the class teacher.

  • Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning objectives.

  • Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and learning materials.

  • Support pupils with additional learning needs where required.

  • Encourage positive behaviour and promote an inclusive learning environment.

  • Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.

  • Contribute to the overall wellbeing and development of pupils.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience in a school setting.

  • Experience working with children in an educational environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.

  • A commitment to supporting pupils' academic and personal development.
